Geometry projects continued...

Geometry students took on the role of engineers for a toy company. Their task was to design & build a new toy out 3-d shapes. They calculated surface area, cost to manufacture their product, made advertisements and also did a sales pitch to their boss. They did a phenomenal job!

5th grade students spent time this morning showing off their ecosystem projects to students in 2nd and 4th grade.

Please see the attached HS boys basketball schedule.

Parents and Students! This is an important reminder regarding ball game rules.
BALL GAME RULES
1. Students coming into the building for a game are not allowed to go outside without permission from the administration. Students not following this rule will not be allowed to attend the next home game.
2. Students are not allowed in the Jr. High hall, library hall, old gym, grade school or high school hall.
3. You should conduct yourself in a well-behaved manner. Students, faculty, parents and all other fans are expected to practice good sportsmanship. Refrain from booing or harassing officials or players.
Remember that when you attend a school event such as a ball game, you not only represent yourself, but the entire community.
4. Children in the 3rd grade or below are not allowed at sporting events unless in attendance with a parent or an adult over 18 years of age. Parents will be called and required to come pick up students in grades 3 and below that are not accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
5. Students are not to open the gym doors at the south end of the gym during the ball game. If you must use a cell phone, go to the lobby. If a student opens the doors at the south end of the gym during a game, they will be removed from the game and will not be allowed to attend the next home game.
