Jr high boys basketball will have practice on Monday 9/27 from 3-5.

Our 5th graders have been learning about mixtures, solutions, physical, and chemical changes in Science over the last few weeks. Today, students measured the masses of glue, water, and borax separately. Then, mixed the ingredients together creating a homogeneous mixture with the same mass, which helped demonstrate the law of the conservation of mass! The students also observed that the new substance had very different properties from the starting materials.

Seniors and Parents of Seniors! Beginning October 1, the FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) will open for students beginning college in Fall 2022. In order to assist you with this process, Thompsonville HS will be hosting a FAFSA completion event on Wednesday, October 6, from 3:30-6:00. Representatives from
Rend Lake College will be here to assist you with completing this process. The event will be held in the cafeteria and no appointment is necessary—this is being done as a “walk-in” event. 2020 tax returns for both student and parent will need to be brought with you. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Chiaventone.
