Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 16 Will be testing day for the High School.
Freshman and Sophomores will be taking their PSAT.
Juniors will be taking their SATs
If the Junior Class has perfect attendance tomorrow they(only Juniors) will get to leave school as soon as they are done testing.

It is mandatory that you attend prom to attend the Post Prom Activity.


Thompsonville High School Junior Class presents Masquerade Prom!
Any guests that do not attend Thompsonville High School must have a guest form returned prior to the dance.
Ticket presale will begin Monday, April 22nd. Pre-purchased tickets are preferred but not required. Students will be able to purchase tickets at the door if needed.

Thompsonville High School students competed in SIU Carbondales 2024 Math Field Day a couple weeks ago. There were approximately 750 students from 28 different schools that participated. Our competitors were:
Junior Class Team
Sam Gordon, Brooklyn Kelley, Kenzie Jones, Stormie Minton, and Deseray Woolsey
Sophomore Class Team
Melanie Henson, Kailyn Kahl, Liam Reagan, and Nate Kern
Freshman Class Team
Amilya Williford, Abigail Casteel, Cully Broy, and Lanie Williams
Our Freshman and Junior Class Team won 1st Place out of all Division A Schools! Out of all of the students, Abigail Casteel, Amilya Williford, and Brooklyn Kelley received an honorable mention award. This award is given to students who scored in the top 20 of all students participating.
The top scorers for each class in our school were: Abigail Casteel, Kailyn Kahl, and Brooklyn Kelley.
We are so proud of these students and their accomplishments!

8th grade students visited the Rend Lake College Campus for a Career Connection Day! Students learned about a variety of careers. They visited some booths with familiar faces! 😀

Congratulations to Aaron Mace and Emma Kerley who were recognized at the Illinois Principals Association Achievement Breakfast held back in March. They were nominated by their teachers based on academic achievement, service to others and good character. Well done!

Students in high school Biology spent the last few weeks learning about Ocean Acidification. Today, students died eggs in order to demonstrate how pH levels of the ocean can affect the outer shell of various organisms.







Congratulations to Ms. Finn's Volleyminton Team Tournament Champs, Liam & Hunter!! They went undefeated in our 22 team bracket that started last week.
Runners up were Jamesyn & Lathyn!
